Poll: What camera bag brand do you recommend?

As part of the 365 Before Thirty project I have a self incentive plan: Every 30 days that I complete on the project I’m allowed to buy a new major piece of camera gear. I find that this certainly helps place a light at the end of the tunnel and prevents the project becoming too much like a chore. For the 30 and 60 day marks I got myself the combined set up of a Manfrotto 055CXPRO3 tripod and the 322RC2 tripod head. Both excellent items.

Now that I’ve passed the 90 day mark I’m once again allowed to break open my sealed camera kit piggy bank and get myself something nice. However I do want it to be practical. My current camera bag is dying and I need to get a replacement. The current bag is a Naneu Pro K3L which I quite like the layout of but the build quality seems to be a bit on the low side.

So I’m looking for some help – there is a lot of excellent camera bags out there but I’m interested in what my readers recommend. My preference would be for a day pack style bag but I’m open to all suggestions.

I’ve got a Ryka and a KamKit. The KamKit has a velcro style fabric make that means you can shift the dividers about to fit your gear. I can’t make any suggestions about brands, but surely the main consideration would be the bag fitting your needs?

It’s very gizmo, but while you’re looking at camera bags, have you seen http://www.rotation360.com/?

You’re absolutely correct that I should get something to fit my needs but I’m still interested to see what’s available and what gets the thumbs up.

That 360 seems to be… massively overly complicated. Shiny but complicated

    Crumpler. They last freaking forever.

Build quality certainly gets a good rap, most of their bag designs I’ve seen so far aren’t really what I’m after

Krumpler, had ours for 6 years now, carry 4 lenses, 2 cameras, batteries, etc in it, it’s awesome.
