Day 88 – Green & Gold

Stunning nature

Day 88 of the 365 Before Thirty project – I have no idea what type of flower this was but it had these amazingly delicate strictures which were just too good to pass up taking a shot of.

Update: Thanks to the amazingly sharp-eyed commenter Miguel the flower has been identified as a Spider Lily of the Hymenocallis genus.

    Excellent shot with great bokeh effect. If I’m not mistaken, this is a photo of a Spider Lily or Peruvian daffodil, from the genus Hymenocallis.

    @Miguel
    Now -that- is impressive. Looked up shots of the Hymenocallis and bingo that’s exactly what it was.
