Day 85 of the 365 Before Thirty project – I love taking shots during storms in order to get lightning shots. During the normal summer storms we get I’ll take 600+ shots but only 3-4 of them will be great lightning shots. The rest result in rather odd pictures of the sky tinged in orange and purple. The orange is a result of the lights from the CBD reflecting off the low level clouds, the purple tinges come from the strikes out of view of the lens.
